Hi! I’m Alicia,
Here to help you connect with a calmer, more compassionate version of yourself.
Virtual therapy across Arizona and North Carolina
I specialize in supporting overwhelmed mothers and cycle-breakers who want to understand themselves more deeply, shift patterns they don’t want to carry forward, and create more intentional, connected relationships with themselves and their children.
I believe the path to a calmer, more compassionate motherhood begins with coming home to yourself— with curiosity for your patterns, compassion for your past, and space for who you’re becoming.
I’m Alicia Orlopp, and I support women navigating the beautiful, exhausting, and complicated journey of motherhood. I work especially with women who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns they’re determined not to carry forward.
Using IFS, Brainspotting, and Interpersonal Neurobiology, I help you slow down and understand what’s happening beneath your reactions—exploring the parts of you that feel anxious, angry, exhausted, or stuck, while developing a deeper understanding of how your experiences have shaped your nervous system and relationships.
Together, we create space for greater calm, compassion, presence, and choice—not by becoming a perfect mother, but by developing a more compassionate relationship with yourself.
As a mom of two, I get the isolation, guilt, overwhelm, and moments when it all feels like too much. You aren’t failing. You’re human. Therapy can be a place to set down some of the weight, understand yourself more deeply, and create a different way forward.
Get to know me
When I’m not in session, you can find me at a spin class, hanging out with my husband and kids, by the water, or staying up late reading a good book. I grew up on Lake Ontario enjoying water activities of all kind, but my heart belongings to sailing. I named my practice Shoreline Counseling to represent the natural tranquility of waves ebbing and flowing along the shore. The human soul thrives in connection with nature, and the integration of the two creates space for deep healing.
